Ohio Fish Farmers Meeting Set
Ohio fish farmers and those wishing to become fish farmers are invited to a meeting with Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Robert Boggs, on Friday, October 30, 2009 in Fisher Auditorium at OSU’s OARDC Campus in Wooster. Small Farm Center at the upcoming Farm Science Review
Small and family scale farmers will want to visit the Small Farm Center at the upcoming Farm Science Review scheduled for Sept 22-24, 2009 at OSU’s Molly Caren Center near London, OH. The Small Farm Center is sponsored by the OSU Extension Sustainable Ag Team and American Small Farm Magazine. The Center will feature small farm equipment, educational displays and small farm seminars on topics such as moving off the energy grid, growing blueberries, pasture management, grants and loans for small farms, bramble production, freshwater shrimp and many more.
